How to tell when to give the coffee machine service and repairs guys a call.
It’s easy to forget to book your coffee machine in for a service…not so easy to forget about booking your coffee machine in for a repair! Coffee machine repairs can get expensive. Here are some warning signs to look for to avoid expensive repairs.
- You’ve turned on your coffee machine and nothing happens – the lights don’t go on and nobody’s home
- You’re all set to make a cup of coffee; coffee machine is warmed up and ready to go. You press the brew button and the coffee drips out at such a slow pace, it’s ice cold before it hits the cup.
- You’ve brewed your coffee, but when you start frothing the milk it just doesn’t froth…it gets boiling hot but not at all frothy.
- You turn on your coffee machine and leave it to warm up. When you return there is water under your coffee machine.
- You’ve made a cup of coffee and frothed your milk. You are ready to drink your cup of coffee, but as you lift the cup close to your nose you smell something very strange- your coffee doesn’t smell like coffee and you can’t describe the smell.
- You need to refill the water tank of your coffee machine. You notice a white-green lining in the tank.
- Your coffee is always too cold. Not warm- the way it is supposed to be drunk, but cold.
- You turn on your milk frother and notice that it t doesn’t froth the milk as well as it used to.
- You’ve made a cup of coffee with your coffee machine which you’ve had for a while. You are used to the taste and strength. Your coffee suddenly tastes weak.
- You just can’t remember the last time you had your coffee machine serviced!
